Why should the Public Sector attend UKIS?
Infrastructure plays an integral role in the delivery of public services, and for procurement professionals and supporting staff working within the public sector, UKIS presents the ideal opportunity to hear about the state of play across the UK’s biggest projects, and how those projects will affect public services across the country.
Experts will be delivering skills development sessions throughout the day on topics such as social value, sustainability and supply chain development in procurement and infrastructure, covering projects ranging from transport and utilities to urban regeneration and hospitals. There will also be the chance to meet and connect with suppliers working or exploring ways to work with the public sector.
UKIS will present public sector specific sessions delivered by:
- Ministry of Justice
- West Midlands Combined Authority
- East Midlands Council
- Liverpool City Region Freeport
- Crown Commercial Service
UKIS will also be hosted in conjunction with the inaugural Procurement Act Expo, a must-attend for anyone buying for or supplying to the public sector, where delegates will have the chance to learn more about what the new regulations mean for procurement activity, and how they can maximise the opportunities presented by the changes.
